Children's Day (こどもの日, Kodomo no hi) is a public holiday in Japan which takes place annually on May 5th. Our celebration in Saskatoon takes place during the month of May. Activities in the past have included koinobori (carp windsocks) crafts, colouring pages, garapon, kamishibai, kendama, origami, and water calligraphy.
